So my baby finally got his wish granted!

He got the chance to perform at Esplanade On The Waterfont!

So my family, marcus and i went to give him our support!

Valentine's Day 2012

WHAT THE HELL I WROTE SO MUCH AND BLOGGER SIMPLY CRASHED AND ATE ALL MY WORDS? :(

Walau eh..... OK LA I REWRITE. WALAU............................. WA IM DAMN ANGRY :(

So i met jr after my Comm Skills Interview Roleplay Assessment. I'm so glad all my coursework are cleared, it's time to focus on my final papers now!!

He told me he has a surprise planned for me after our dinner. *blissfulface.jpg*

He also gave me 2 cards, a maroon coloured and a green coloured one. He asked me to read the maroon coloured card first and guess what? It's his card from our 2nd Vday together... Why didn't he give it to me then? HAHA

We caught Underworld: Awakening at Plaza Sing and during the movie I was so hungry cuz I haven't had anything the whole day! Decided to grab a bite at Xin Wang!

Their French Toast with Ice Cream is THE BOMB!

After that we headed to Suntec, the venue for ur Vday dinner! But we had to wait till 6pm for the to start serving dinner. So we walked around Suntec a lil first.

6pm, IT'S TIME FOR TONY ROMA'S, BABEH!

I ordered Sirloin Steak while jr ordered Ribs& Steak Combo! We were served mushroom soup and bread with a little garlic spread and we felt a little full after that so we totally regretted grabbing a bite at Xin Wang! The garlic spead ain't great :/

SO HERE'S OUR MAIN. My steak was KICK-ASS!!!

It's medium rare so it's bloody... But i love it!!! SO BLOODY(pun intended) JUICY!!!

And their steak is the thickest I've ever had! And their steak is great cuz it just makes you wanna continue eating! Even if you're full already you'll be like "Wa wish i had more space, i can go on and on!!"

And no wonder TR's famous for their ribs... The ribs JR had was not dry at all, unlike some other restaurants out there.

And their corn on the cob........ SO SWEET!!!! I love it la. As for the mashed potato I'm not too sure cuz I was too full to really taste it.

So here is a photo of us feeling satisfied after a great meal :)

After the meal it was time for my surprise... I asked him where we were going and he said "Habourfront" so I asked, "Cable car ah?"

He replied "No......." then "ok la yala yala" after afew seconds. HAHAHA his surprises are too easy for me to guess!

Then he gave me a clue of another destination.

"You think you surf, but technically you can't."

I had NO IDEA what he was saying HAHAHA so we just took a train to Habourfront and hopped on the cablecar.

After we reached Jewel Box he led me to a direction sign and repeated the clue.

"You think you surf, but technically you can't."

I looked up and saw..... HENDERSON WAVES HAHHAA
ok. That was a fail but somehow pass clue HAHAHA Y MY BOY SO FUNNY

So we walked (quite a distance!!) to Henderson Waves and spent a little time there :)

After that we took a long bus ride home. I read the green colour card on the bus, which is his vday card for this year ^^

I'm so glad I did because..... we lost the cards :( Both of them...

The cards were placed in a paper bag and while we were on the bus the paper bag dropped on the floor and I think the cards fell out :'(

But nvm, his words are etched in my heart :)

I really gotta thank him for being such a wonderful boyfriend...

There may be many uncertainties about how the future is going to like for the both of us but what matters most is that we enjoy the time we have now, together as one.

I love you, baby.

Project 365: #93 Fruits for brunch

I was thinking hard about what i should have for brunch today... I opened the fridge and realized 1/2 of the strawberries in my fridge are starting to have mold on them so I cut the fresh ones up and combined it with orange & apples for a healthy and awesome fruit bowl! ;)

1 fact about me:
I have super super super hideous dark eye rings.... Like when I remove I make up and I compare myself with other girls, my under eye circles are really crazily horrible. I've been trying to find a good concealer to hide 'em...

I read reviews on BeneFit's erase paste and I got mixed reviews :/ but I decided to try it anyway cuz the good reviews about it are really GREAT. And it's my valentine's day present from jr anyway :p hehe so we got it today and I can't wait to try it on my bare face tomorrow!!!! Thanks honey :*

Hi all, if you're thinking of what you could do on a Sunday evening tmr please come down to Esplanade on the Waterfront to watch a performance by 29:11. Jr is playing the drums:)

It's gonna be a performance full o love(c'mon valentine's day is around the corner!) and they'll be playing Originals as well as covers.
First set starts at 7.30pm and second set starts at 8.45pm.

This is really really really easy for me because I'm extremely lucky that jr is a guy who is totally reasonable, of great temper, understanding and cute! Really!

First of all, both of us believe that quarrels do not make a relationship stronger. I mean yeah, there might be times where a quarrel makes both parties understand each other more but most of the time it just sours a relationship even if it's just a tiny bit. You quarrel, then you solve. Why not talk properly and solve instead? It's so much easier than screaming your lungs out at each other. If you love the person you would not want to talk like you can't stand the person. Expressing your frustration in a grumpy way and unleashing the devil inside you would only hurt yourself and your love, so why do it?

I'm not saying we agree with everything the other person does. There are several times where I actually felt unhappy about jr on something. For the past 3 years++ all the thing I am unhappy about are all rather minor.. I would SMS him a long text what I am upset over, why I am upset and what I think he should do instead. And most of the time I tear while typing my message under my blanket :'(

There are 2 scenarios:

1) He understands that he is wrong and apologizes. As long as I know he knows that I'm unhappy about it and will make an effort to make up to me, I'm cool.
Matter solved.

2) He defends himself by stating his reasons calmly and why he thinks I am not right by saying those things. I would think through thoroughly and consider whether he is right.

If yes, I'll apologize and shower him with "hehe i love you la ok sorry for misunderstanding hehe^^"

Matter solved.

However if I still think he is at wrong I'll try to explain in another angle until he gets it.

We make sure we are talking to each other in the nicest way possible. If one of us ever ever ever is on the verge of talking in a way that is unpleasant, we'll stop talking about the matter, cool down a little, think over and talk about it again.

Yup. That's how we get along. I'm really glad jr does not get angry at me even if I misunderstood him. He just explains to me nicely. That makes him a really easy-going boyfriend. I feel damn comfortable with him.

And that's why I love him *insert blissful face .gif*

Confessions of a Mascaraholic

Ok a confession: I got another mascara yesterday........ =x

I'm a sucker for mascaras la, really!!!!

I bought my Maybelline Magnum not long ago but it's kinda dry :(

I read reviews on the Magnum, seems ok so i bought the ones bundled with babylips lip balm in NTUC. Tried it and oh man it wasnt that great cuz it was kinda dry... I prefer mascaras with a wet formula. However when i took a look at the testers available in drugstores they were not that dry leh! :( I think i got one that was kinda dried up already. Wasted my money!!!! :(

And it is not the first time I got a dried up mascara! I bought a Maybelline Stiletto at Suntec's Watsons sometime back, and found that it sucked cuz it's so dry. I thought it's how the mascara formula is like but i realized it's actually not that dry when i tried testers available in the other stores....

But i'm such a coward when it comes to refunds and exchanges.... :/

So anyway I got the Maybelline Falsies yesterday. For this one I can buy without worrying that it might have dried up already cuz Falsies is relative new in Singapore!^^

I was trying it on without curling, and wow my lashes got so long! So i bought it. When I reached home I curled my lashes with a heated eyelash curler and whooooo i love it!

The effect the mascara gave is alike to Majorca Majolica's Lash Expander, but it's softer (MM really hardens like crazy) and hence gives a more natural look.. I tried giving it a second coat and it thickens and lengthens without any clumps!

I really hope the good effects of this tube lasts me for at least 2-3 months.. Please don't dry up too soon!!!

To the anonymous who asked for a make up tutorial, i'm still shy about that idea cuz i'm not exactly very good at making up but i'll try to!! :)
