It's gonna be a performance full o love(c'mon valentine's day is around the corner!) and they'll be playing Originals as well as covers.
First set starts at 7.30pm and second set starts at 8.45pm.

This is really really really easy for me because I'm extremely lucky that jr is a guy who is totally reasonable, of great temper, understanding and cute! Really!

First of all, both of us believe that quarrels do not make a relationship stronger. I mean yeah, there might be times where a quarrel makes both parties understand each other more but most of the time it just sours a relationship even if it's just a tiny bit. You quarrel, then you solve. Why not talk properly and solve instead? It's so much easier than screaming your lungs out at each other. If you love the person you would not want to talk like you can't stand the person. Expressing your frustration in a grumpy way and unleashing the devil inside you would only hurt yourself and your love, so why do it?

I'm not saying we agree with everything the other person does. There are several times where I actually felt unhappy about jr on something. For the past 3 years++ all the thing I am unhappy about are all rather minor.. I would SMS him a long text what I am upset over, why I am upset and what I think he should do instead. And most of the time I tear while typing my message under my blanket :'(

There are 2 scenarios:

1) He understands that he is wrong and apologizes. As long as I know he knows that I'm unhappy about it and will make an effort to make up to me, I'm cool.
Matter solved.

2) He defends himself by stating his reasons calmly and why he thinks I am not right by saying those things. I would think through thoroughly and consider whether he is right.

If yes, I'll apologize and shower him with "hehe i love you la ok sorry for misunderstanding hehe^^"

Matter solved.

However if I still think he is at wrong I'll try to explain in another angle until he gets it.

We make sure we are talking to each other in the nicest way possible. If one of us ever ever ever is on the verge of talking in a way that is unpleasant, we'll stop talking about the matter, cool down a little, think over and talk about it again.

Yup. That's how we get along. I'm really glad jr does not get angry at me even if I misunderstood him. He just explains to me nicely. That makes him a really easy-going boyfriend. I feel damn comfortable with him.

And that's why I love him *insert blissful face .gif*

Ok a confession: I got another mascara yesterday........ =x

I'm a sucker for mascaras la, really!!!!

I bought my Maybelline Magnum not long ago but it's kinda dry :(

I read reviews on the Magnum, seems ok so i bought the ones bundled with babylips lip balm in NTUC. Tried it and oh man it wasnt that great cuz it was kinda dry... I prefer mascaras with a wet formula. However when i took a look at the testers available in drugstores they were not that dry leh! :( I think i got one that was kinda dried up already. Wasted my money!!!! :(

And it is not the first time I got a dried up mascara! I bought a Maybelline Stiletto at Suntec's Watsons sometime back, and found that it sucked cuz it's so dry. I thought it's how the mascara formula is like but i realized it's actually not that dry when i tried testers available in the other stores....

But i'm such a coward when it comes to refunds and exchanges.... :/

So anyway I got the Maybelline Falsies yesterday. For this one I can buy without worrying that it might have dried up already cuz Falsies is relative new in Singapore!^^

I was trying it on without curling, and wow my lashes got so long! So i bought it. When I reached home I curled my lashes with a heated eyelash curler and whooooo i love it!

The effect the mascara gave is alike to Majorca Majolica's Lash Expander, but it's softer (MM really hardens like crazy) and hence gives a more natural look.. I tried giving it a second coat and it thickens and lengthens without any clumps!

Here's a scary photo of my eye with 2 coats!

I really hope the good effects of this tube lasts me for at least 2-3 months.. Please don't dry up too soon!!!

To the anonymous who asked for a make up tutorial, i'm still shy about that idea cuz i'm not exactly very good at making up but i'll try to!! :)

Helloooooo! Since I am free now and feeling for an update I shall do so!

Life is better now ever since project submissions ended... I really enjoy the much relaxing days but my happiness is short-lived.... Exam starts in ~2 weeks time! :(

I'm really not confident at all for my finance papers... I just hope I'll pass so I wont let my CP down for all she did for me.

So anyway.... here are some random photos I took over the past 1-2 months!

The next photo is taken at an ice cream shop, Mezzanotte. Went there twice with my family, bb and cousin already! My cousin prefers their Salted Caramel flavour to Salted Caramel's. I still prefer SC's :)

The boys(minus nick), joanne and i had dinner together at Marcus' place. We bought 4-cheese pizzas, pasta and garlic bread and other toppings for our pizza then headed of Marc' to prepare our dinner!!!

We topped the 4-cheese pizza with: Ham, Smoked duck, Onions and Mushrooms!

WOW our dinner was SO GOOD!

And this, well i was working at Cine frolick one day and the people at BFF was really nice! They gave us fries to bring home because there were leftovers! The perks of working @ cine. Yums

Next.... Korean Strawberries!!! I'm in love..... It's much softer than the regular strawberries you get.. It's not very sweet but there is a hint of sweetness.... It's $3.80, reasonable for one punnet but we are already at our 4th pack...... and i foresee more money going to the farmers in korea after we finish our last one. -.-

Had brunhner(breakfast, lunch, dinner haha) at IKEA one day after school with bb. His treat, yay! I love IKEA's meatballs!!!!! It came with a free cake but the cake was... meh.

Went to Han's and Mezzanotte last night with jr, parents and cousin again. While we were in the lift, (jr was carrying kiki) and a malay man asked if kiki's jr's first child. HAHAHA i think jr was really happy to hear that.

And this is just us (ok fine, me) being weird at Mezzanotte.

I was on tumblr and I came across this photo of a skinny girl's tummy+legs with the caption "STOP WISHING AND WORK FOR IT"

I know it's meant to be motivational but I just don't like how it sounds.

I hate how it makes fat girl sounds like they are whining and not doing anything about it. I mean, yes they are lazy to work out and all, but..... Why is it that some girls can get a slim body without working out? I mean those who are just slim without exercising. Comparing those who are slim/aren't slim even though both does zero exercise. I know what I'm saying is contradicting.. I'm not good with my words but I hope you get what I mean.

Some people are like "oh shes so fat and she likes to complain but why the hell can't she just get her ass down to exercising to achieve it?!"

Let's talk about a normal person. Which normal person wouldn't want to laze around and achieve things without working hard for it? (Minus those workaholics and those whose ass would itch if they never put in effort in ever second of their life, please.)

So some girls can just eat and eat an eat without growing sideways. Oh, why are you so damn lucky while some other girls have to deal with expansion with every gram of food they consume?

So it's like super unfair for girls with lousy metabolism rates(like yours truly). Yes metabolism rates can be changed by adjusting your diet/ exercising to reduce fat and increase muscle etc etc but that all involves effort, doesn't it?

It's not like everyone is born with equal metabolism rates. If that is true I wouldn't be ranting like this.

Uh im wondering if you even understand but nvm I just feel like ranting......

Ok so this is kinda like a "Facts about Me" post. And it's on shopping! I'm super different from majority of the girls.

So.. When I was young I disliked shopping. Like, whenever I go out with my mom and sis, it's a rare thing that I would actually come home with something. My sis would be happily trying on clothes and my mom would be like "eh nothing you like ah? Never look properly?" then I'd be like "nothing that i like leh"

Yeah I don't really shop properly I just walk pass the clothing racks...

And my mum would get "angry" sometimes because I would go "eh don't want" whenever she finds something nice and asks if I want it.

Sometimes even if I've found something I like, I don't dare to tell my mom. What the hell is wrong with me?! :/

That was when I was younger. Now that I've grown up and earned a little money I shop abit, but at the start I couldn't bear to spend more than $20 on a piece of clothing.. Therefore my wardrobe is full of basics. I wear the same clothes to school hahaha.
And I tend to buy the same basic top in different colors -.-

So now I should totally start to shop for more dressy tops instead of basics all the time. And the new year shopping I did is a great start!

My New Year Reslutions

Mmmm is it too late to list don my NY Resolutions now? I hope not!

1. LOSE WEIGHT LOL

Ok I'm always saying this :(

I was a lil successful at my attempt last Sept... until school started in Oct. I stopped what I've been doing and now everything I'd lost kinda came back :(

So my resolution... sigh i wonder if i would even keep it; to start a regime and actually stick to it until i lose a significant amount of weight.

But then again it's kinda difficult because I'm so busy with school and work :(

2. Speaking of busy, my next resolution is for me to actually manage my time well. The past 2 months ever since sch started has been hell for me cuz I had SO MUCH difficulties trying to juggle work and studies. Studies as in projects..

It's really difficult for me because I need to work enough to support myself. Because of school I've only earned like $100+ for the past 2-3 months and that is not enough to cover my expenses. Food, concession ($52 WTH it's too expensive, almost half of income GONE), other random stuff....

I also wish I could be like the majority of my friends... I also wish to be able to just live on the allowance from my parents but it is not possible for me because I do not want to be a additional burden to my parents. I feel good knowing that they can now stop providing me with allowances and use it to make their lives better. They still give me some money when I really have close to $0 but truthfully every time that happens I feel like shit. My mom had to pay for my concession last month. Do you know how i feel?:( sorry mommaaaaaaa

Back to time management... I need to manage my time in a way that I can balance school and work. OH AND SLEEP.

The last 3 days was OH MY GOD IM FREAKING TIRED NOW

On thursday I forgot what i was doing, i slept at 1.30am, leaving me with a 4 hours sleep because I have Kelly on friday mornings at 8.30am. I woke up at 5.45am. After school I had work from 5-11pm. So when I got home it was already 12+am, and i had to wake up at 8am to prepare for work again at 1030. Ok, amount of sleep is not bad but I was already so tired from the day before. AND. I worked full shift, 1030 am to 11pm!

I was also very stressed because I had projects to complete :(

The next day had to wake up early again to had to the library to borrow their books to complete my project. And today, school. I'm damn shagged already please :(

I'm totally deprived of sleep now, someone save me. :(

3. Be a good aunt to Kiki

Another reason why I wanna earn enough money is because I wanna be an aunt that actually spends on her niece. I want to be an aunt that can buy my darling niece things when we go out.

I hope I'll be a good role model for her.

4. Spend more time with my loved ones.

Once again this is a challenge of time management........

5. Continue to stay quarrel-free and loving with Jr :)

A great start to 2012: Staycation @ Movenpick Sentosa

I had an awesome "staycation" (a vacation, but within Sg), at Movenpick Heritage Hotel Sentosa with baby, Ben and Andrea! B&A booked the hotel and it was so nice of them to invite us to stay with them!! So we had a.... mmm double date? Hahaha it was awesome!

The hotel= AWESOME. THERE'S A BATHTUB

After settling down we went for a walk on the beach :)

Becasue the weather was so hot they decided they wanna go for a swim in the hotel's pool so I had to get a swimwear. Guess what I got?

My very first bikini haha i'm still not very comfortable wearing it but i guess it sort of works as a motivation for me to lose weight?

After the swim we went back to our room and bathed!

Went for our dinner at KFC and I finally got to visit RWS!

Next afternoon we had Macs and visited the beach again! Rented bicycles!

After the cycle B&A went for a swim at the pool while jr and I enjoyed the bathtub. Switched after an hour! AHHH AWESOME LA I LOVE BATHTUBS!

Went toastbox for our dinner and spent the next 1hour+ at RWS

My Christmas 2011

I had quite an awesome Christmas this year! Including the xmas celebration in advance with my buds... Except for the Xmas eve night leading to Christmas day itself... That period I felt super bored and lifeless haha but before and after was great!^^

The before:

Xmas eve morning, woke up at like 8 because jr had to reach Lavendar St @ 11pm to return his pants, a part of his toy soldier costume, because he forgot to leave it in the plastic bag that the i/c was gonna return as a whole. Zzzzz see la, so forgetful!

So that's us at lasalle, where he left his pants at.

After returning the pants we went back to amk. We stopped infront of a poster for the titanic exhibition... "We must go one day!" I told him.

Then, at hub, AHAH! We got a xmas present for kiki!^^

After the exhibition we traveled to toa payoh to join the alumni for steamboat. Look at my thighs after alcohol haha i read it on the net that it's called the asian flush syndrome. Mmm it's not a good thing but i guess it's fine because i don't drink regularly!

And there.... that's My Christmas 2011.

Sometimes I really wish I had traditional celebrations... like family around a dining table with turkey, gift exchange etc.

Oh and I really would like to have a white Christmas one day. Yeah that's one wish :)

Jr joined us and once we reached Nick's we watched Final Destination 5! The connection to one of the previous FD movies was cool! But the show's still as disturbing as ever.

I just got a question on formspring and I guess it's an interesting topic to touch on so I decided to write a post out of it.

Here's the question:

'you think you can get married with your bf in future without getting sick of each other?"

Ok how to I start?

Mmmm this is one tough question, really! Imagine me answering "Oh, noooo, I'm sure we won't get sick of each other because we love each other so much! :') "

and sometime later we go separate ways... someone will dig out my answer and laugh at me :(

So I shall answer this in a very tactful way- from the perspective of the quality of our relationship now.

At this stage of our relationship I can say we're still very in love. We're still the honeymoon period; even though not as honeymoon(ya it's an adjective now haha) as when we first got together but we are still very sweet and lovey dovey, I would say.

So if you're asking me that question with the guarantee that our relationship would stay the same till we pass on, my answer would be YES. HELL YES. We will get married in the future without getting sick of each other.

I'm sure we will get married and not get sick of each other if our relationship stayed the same and stable throughout our entire life.

However, we all know things might change. (Which would make me really :( of course)

Who knows something might happen and affect our relationship?

Who knows one of us might find someone new in the future?

Who knows if we might start taking each other for granted and start disliking every move the other person takes?

Who knows if one of us, or both of us would stop loving each other?

Who knows?
It's just too predictable. As much as I want to say that our love will never change, there's just too much unpredictability.

But of course I'm not saying we won't get married and will get sick of each other la. I'm just saying that it's really difficult to give a correct answer. Unless I have a time machine to allow me to sneak a peek into our future... :p

So to the question, I can't give a definite answer to that. I can't have an absolute opinion on whether that's gonna happen; I can only hope. :)

And that hope, that wish, is the greatest wish I'll have for my whole life. To me marriage is that one thing that I must have and I think it'll be absolutely wonderful if the groom's YOU. :)

Helllllllo I felt I should give this space a little proper update instead of just a photo everyday! So here's what I did for the past 1 week or so!

Yesterday I went to watch Jr do his Toy Soldier performance at Raffles Place! It was kind of cute seeing men in toy soldier uniform roving in raffles place, which is full of businessmen and office ladies. Hahaha imagine the contrast?

As part of their overall appearance they had to apply lipstick to give them the rosy cheek look! So cute please.

And being the evil girlfriend I am, I persuaded jr to let me apply lipstick on where it is supposed to be applied on- his lips!!!! HAHAHAHA LOOK AT THAT FACE OH MY BABY IS SO CUTE

Their performance that day was 3 sets of 15minutes, from 12.30pm- 2pm. I watched the first and went for brownie alone to wait for them to finish all the sets!

They will still be there for another 5 days before Xmas so go check out their performance if you happen to be at Raffles Place! Im not sure about the exact days though, but timing's the same :p Try ur luck! :p

Salted Caramel Brownie from The Brownie Factory! It's really good, but you MUST share it with someone else cause it's really sweet(and sinful! I felt urgh afterwards).

Here's the dinner I prepared at night!

Last weekend I went to stay overnight at Downtown East Chalet with some of the YCK alumni. Bought yoguru before I went to find them at the chalet room!

Yoguru..... my favourite froyo! The texture is really special and consistent! It's foamy :3

We went midnight cycling! This time round it wasn't as hiong, we just cycled for around 3hours including some breaks along the way! We just cycled from Downtown>Tamp>Simei>Back.

The trip t0 simei took us 2 hours cause we kept stopping, but we took like less than an hour to get back.

The other time was horrifying hahaha 7+hours from Downtown to Changi to East Coast and all the way back! Woah sibei draining.

The next day my thighs hurt :(

And this is what I had this morning..... Hot chocolate with marshmallows... It's so good :')

BTW something dumb happened to me today. Ok, so i was on my way to school for my HR paper which is supposed to be at 5-6pm.

So I took a bus from hub @3.30pm, and transferred to another bus at payalebar at around 4pm. So you know, the trip, as usual, twitter......

I found out from my classmates that the paper is actually TMR -.-

Up till now I already have 26 photos! Can't believe it's been almost a month since I last started! And I'm still looking forward to post a photo every single day :)

To me, my Project365 do not require me to take nice photos. My photo don't need to be of a good standard; it just needs to remind myself a year later about what's most significant about that very day last year. Even if it's just a piece of chocolate- like today. (It's the most significant thing about today cuz it's SO YUMMY!!!! It's 150kcal but it's so good, damn it)

I'm certainly looking forward to my next 339photos! And hopefully I won't stop at just one Project365. I want Project365 II, III, IV, V and so on!

That's us before the the Music Changes Lives Showcase 2011 started...

I'm so proud of my boy! Even though he's not the main performer but I'm pretty sure WLH looked at every single musician that night for at least a second each? :)

Btw the day before I went down to frolick for an interview.. It went pretty well i would say. Then the day of the showcase they called and told me I'm hired! Whoop!

Before I landed in glacious I was looking for a froyo shop that is like "customer choose cup I serve they pay" kinda concept.... I went to yoguru but in the end I started work at glacious. I'll still be working at glacious though, just not as often. I like the people there; they're all genuinely nice!

I hope frolick's the same.. Looking forward to start work there!

If you don't already know, Wang Lee Hom is one of my favourite artiste. My favourite Chinese male artists, anyway. I've always told myself I'll attend my favourite artistes' concerts at least once in my lifetime. Not now, because tickets are so expensive! :(

So when jr told me his friend Andy was one of the 4 winners for a competition held by BRAND'S and that WLH is the ambassador I was so excited, but at the same time I felt disappointed because I thought I couldn't get any tickets for the showcase.

The winner had to form a band to perform together and the showcase with him doing guitar solo. So he formed one, and somehow in the end jr became the drummer!!! So I was having hopes that he could get a tix for me, but not high hopes cause there might be a chance I'm not gonna get one.

One day at my place jr said, "I've got good news for you."

He got his friend to give me a tixxxxxxxxxxxxx OMG

So yeah yesterday was the day! And it went SO WELL.

I had a short day at school, just 1.5hours, then spent my afternoon making Kiki smile(a lot!!! I feel so accomplished) then prepared and took a bus down to University Cultural Centre.

Photog was allowed so I started to snap pix but all of them was blurry :( then I thought of the 'Sports continuous mode' and whooooooop!!!! Great pix! But one click and hold takes like 20 photos in around 1-2 seconds. So I have close to 3000 photos taken lol sure delete until hand nua. Hahahahahaha

Seeing WLH live was so awesome but everything felt so surreal.........

Anyway after the showcase we went to have supper at Newton with the and and the winner's family and friends. My last meal was at around 12pm and I was quite shocked I didn't feel hungry the whole evening. Must be because I'm too eggggggggghcited!

So mmhmm, lovely day! 1 Dec 2011, definitely a day to be remembered:)
Thanks to Andy, who worked hard to be one of the winners... If not for him I wouldn't have the chance to attend the showcase. But of course I gotta thank jr too cuz I wouldn't have the chance I get tix from Andy if I weren't his GF. Hehehehehe ^^v

Why blog? And hi, kiddos!

Reading all the past entries actually reminds me of the reason behind this blog. Many things we may have experienced or gone through, but not all stay very clear in our minds after years, or even months. It's still etched in our memory but nothing is there to remind us about it. Hence a blog is a great tool to remind you because all you need to do is to click and it brings you back to the past; reminding you about past memories.

I can click on my archives and read a random post and go "omg hahaha yeah that happened, it was so funny!!!!!!" or see and photo and think, "aww that was my favourite photo of the day!"

Even though readership is low, the main aim of this blog is to allow me to have a space to capture all my memories. I'll leave the world one day but all the memorable things I've done will be known to my grandchildren if they ever read my blog.

They'll know about my buddies, my love(their grandpa!!!) my family... All the times I've had with them. They'll know and more or less know about the time I've lived in and see the differences from the time they are living in. How awesome is that?!

And if my future grandchildren's reading this, I wanna say,

"Hi kiddos, I'm only 18 now! I promise to be a cool, hip and awesome grandma! Love you!"

Yeah I'm cool. I'm gonna be a cool grandma! \m/

It was a random decision to click on my December 2010 Archives and at the end of the very last post of that month I wrote:

"And now, I just hope 2011 would be as good as 2010, or even better if it's possible:)
2011 would be a completely different year and life for my family but sure that new thing would be a great addition:)"

Our Third Anniversary

OK this post is super overdue but ah nevermind la hor

Anyway our day went like this, we booked tickets for a movie @ Cathay, then had lunch @ javier's salad bar. This place is AWESOME. It's $8.90 for their ALL-YOU-CAN-PILE Salad plate. And they're under Aston's so the plate is actually the standard plates you see at astons. That big! So you can just pile and pile and pile any thing you want, they can cold dishes like pasta salad, potato salad(yes the ones you see in astons on their sides menu), lettuce etc and hot dishes they have mashed potato, hash brown, corn, onion rings.... Huge variety.

It's our 3rd time there, and i rmb our very first time there, being very noob and stupid we ordered 1 main each. Then we realized the salad bar could fill us up as much and at a much cheaper price. So yeah..........

The best thing about javier's is that they don't care how many people's sharing that one plate of food. I've seen 4-5 girls sharing a mountain high of fried rice. 4-5 girls, $8.90 NETT.

How cheap is that?! So yeah, the food's decent as well so go try if you haven't!

And unleash the singaporean in you, go with a couple of friends(or more!) :p

So after the movie we proceeded to our dinner venue, which was supposed to be a secret. The only thing i knew was that it's in Jurong! I was wondering if he was going to bring to to Jurong Bird Park to eat with the birds lol

Bought candies before the movie, and this time round jr was really nice not to nag at me for getting candies. Usually he'd be like, "dont want la......."

So after we got to the HBP bus stop he had to tell me where's the place we're eating at cuz he couldn't find it and needs me to check using my iphone LOL

But in the end he went to ask for directions and it led us to....

The steak fillet baby ordered was....................... OMG *_*

Really, if you go there just order that. I ordered the sirloin, just a few bucks cheaper that the fillet but the fillet is really HIGH up there. Oh god it's so tender I can't even..... AH JUST ORDER THAT.

I wonder why he always gives me funny faces while taking photos.

Anyway, after the dinner we went back to his place and woops he surprised me with a home-made blueberry cheesecake. Which cost him a BOMB. Like $50?!

And it was a failure actually cuz the cake wasn't firm(more like a paste hahaha) and too much sugar was in it. He used a normal MUG to measure a cup of sugar. So the sugar content probably exceeded by at least half a (measuring) cup. LOL BUT STILL, THE EFFORT'S THERE AND I TRULY APPRECIATE EVERY BIT OF IT :) (In my heart, not mouth) Hahaha

So yeah I'm just gonna leave all the mushy words out. But simply put, I just gotta thank you for everything you've done for me. It's 5 days away from our 37th Months :)
